Introducing the eGolf

The eGolf is 100% electric - powered by lithium ion batteries and the electric motor can produce 85kW of power. As with most electric vehicles the eGolf is very quick off the mark reaching 100km in 10.2 seconds. This is an electric car that is designed as part of the highly successful Golf family and is produced alongside the more conventionally powered Golf. The real world driving range of the eGolf is 220km.

The e-Golf comes with a trickle charger that plugs into your home domestic plug socket and will charge the car overnight (85% of EVs in the US are charged this way).
