Media & bluetooth 

Functionality is the key when it comes to the GTI's media capabilities, with a Discover Media radio, 5.8" colour display with capacitive touchscreen and eight speakers over the front and rear.  The system features proximity sensors which will automatically bring menus up when you hand is close along with swipe and zoom functionality.  Add to this a CD player, Auxiliary input, Navigation, SD card slot,USB interface, MP3, WMA and ACC music playback and you've got a pretty sweet package.

Most powerful GTI of all time

With a newly developed 2.0-litre turbocharged TSI engine, producing 162kW of power and now a massive 350Nm of torque for pulling though corners.  This helps get the GTI from 0-100kph in just 6.5 seconds.

Cross differential Lock (XDS+)

When you take a corner in the GTI, the Electrical Transverse Differential Lock (XDS) System anticipates inside wheel spin and actively directs power to the outside wheel. So instead of applying a braking force to a wheel that's lost traction , it applies corrective braking force slippage occurs.
